ABOUT HIGH POTENTIALS

High Potentials pursues the mission of understanding the universe within the human organism.

We combine artificial intelligence, biology, medicine, and high-performance computing to precisely decode the foundations of life. Our goal is to understand how aging, disease, and biological limitations emerge — and what is required to overcome them.

We aim to support humanity on its path toward radical longevity. Our long-term vision is to view immortality not as a myth, but as a scientific challenge that can be understood, researched, and ultimately made technologically possible.

Our team is small, highly motivated, and focused on scientific and engineering excellence. High Potentials is built for people who ask big questions, seek demanding challenges, and are driven by curiosity, discipline, and long-term thinking.

We operate with a flat organizational structure. All employees are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to our mission. Leadership is earned by those who show initiative, take responsibility, and consistently deliver excellence.

A strong work ethic, clear priorities, and precise communication are essential to us. Knowledge should be shared concisely, clearly, and reliably, enabling every team member to contribute directly to the progress of our mission.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead mission-critical build efforts for HighPotential’s AI infrastructure and data center projects.

As a key on-site leader, you will bring technical credibility, construction expertise, and steady leadership to fast-paced, high-impact environments. You will be responsible for managing mechanical construction activities, owning critical site relationships, and ensuring that projects are delivered with precision, safety, quality, and speed.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, construction, operations, and infrastructure teams, acting as a trusted partner between on-site execution and central project leadership. This role requires someone who can navigate complex build environments, solve problems proactively, and help deliver the physical infrastructure that supports HighPotential’s next generation of AI-powered products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the senior construction representative for HighPotential’s AI infrastructure and data center projects, managing relationships with contractors, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, from pre-construction planning and site development through commissioning, controls, and operational handover.

Coordinate multiple vendors and construction partners, ensuring seamless communication between field teams, engineering, infrastructure, operations, and technical leadership.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure high-quality delivery, site safety, cost control, and operational readiness.

  • Drive progress across mission-critical infrastructure projects, resolving roadblocks quickly to keep timelines, budgets, and quality standards on track.

Align construction schedules with HighPotential’s broader AI infrastructure and platform growth objectives through close cross-functional collaboration.

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and commissioning teams to guide system readiness, identify issues, and resolve technical or execution challenges efficiently.

  • Deliver regular project updates using clear KPIs, dashboards, progress reports, and risk tracking for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure all work meets the technical, mechanical, safety, and quality standards outlined in the base design and project requirements.

  • Perform quantity take-offs, site walks, and field verifications to monitor progress, validate execution, and support accurate reporting.

  • Manage change orders, working proactively to identify practical solutions, minimize unnecessary scope changes, and control costs.

  • Lead site safety initiatives, fostering a consistent, accountable, and effective safety culture across all contractors and project partners.

  • Adapt to evolving project needs and support cross-functional partners as required, bringing a hands-on, ownership-driven approach regardless of original job scope.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale data center, AI infrastructure, mission-critical construction, or complex technical build projects.

  • Deep expertise in construction management, commissioning, site operations, mechanical systems, and project execution in high-performance environments.

  • Proven ability to lead on-site with authority, credibility, and composure, while building trust with vendors, contractors, partners, and technical teams.

  • Experience managing large programs involving multiple vendors, shifting priorities, fast timelines, and complex cross-functional coordination.

  • Strong communication skills across disciplines, from field-level progress updates and contractor coordination to technical escalations and executive reporting.

  • Ability to solve complex, real-time construction and operational challenges with adaptability, precision, and sound judgment.

  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to drive progress, remove blockers, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, cost control, and delivery.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support project sites, vendor meetings, and infrastructure build activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem, including iOS frameworks, development tools, design patterns, and App Store release processes.

  • Experience with Rust or other systems-level languages is a plus, especially for collaborating with backend, infrastructure, or performance-critical components.

Experience with AVFoundation, real-time audio, video, or media processing is a strong advantage for building rich, interactive mobile experiences.

  • A strong track record of shipping standout apps or standout features within high-quality, user-facing mobile products.

  • Deep expertise in iOS development, particularly with Swift. We seek engineers who operate at the highest level of their craft and care deeply about product quality.

  • Ability to deliver results quickly and decisively, moving from idea to implementation with speed, clarity, and technical excellence.

Sharp product sense, with the ability to empathize with users, anticipate their needs, and translate insights into mobile features that feel intuitive, intelligent, and valuable.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product, design, AI, and backend teams to build premium mobile experiences for HighPotential’s global talent and client ecosystem.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in data center construction, AI infrastructure projects, or highly technical facilities is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in relevant project locations is a strong advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex construction challenges, resolve issues quickly, and maintain progress in fast-moving, mission-critical environments.
