ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re seeking an exceptional iOS Engineer to join a small, high-impact team dedicated to building intelligent mobile experiences that help exceptional talent and ambitious companies connect more effectively.

You will help shape HighPotential’s AI-powered mobile products, combining technical excellence with strong product thinking to create intuitive, reliable, and highly valuable user experiences. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working close to product, design, and AI teams, and who wants to build technology that meaningfully improves how people discover opportunities, assess potential, and make better career and hiring decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dream up and craft delightful, intuitive mobile experiences that redefine how exceptional talent and ambitious companies interact with AI-powered career and hiring products.

• Obsess over every pixel, animation, gesture, and interaction, ensuring the HighPotential mobile experience feels seamless, premium, and effortless to use.

• Build blazing-fast, highly performant iOS systems where reliability, responsiveness, and every millisecond matter.

• Drive technical and product decisions in close collaboration with product designers, AI engineers, and platform teams to bring intelligent, user-centered mobile experiences to a global audience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert in Swift, with deep knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI for building polished, scalable, and production-ready iOS applications.

• Proficient in performance optimization across memory, CPU, GPU, and app responsiveness, using low-level tools to deliver fast, smooth, and reliable mobile experiences.

• Experienced in designing and shipping intuitive, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces that elevate how users interact with AI-powered career, talent, and hiring products.

• Skilled in concurrency and reactive programming, including Combine and modern Swift concurrency, to support responsive, real-time user experiences.

• Experienced in building high-throughput integrations with REST APIs, gRPC services, AI model outputs, recommendation systems, or personalized data flows.

• Capable of owning complex mobile features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to testing, release, and App Store deployment.

• Strong focus on speed, scalability, product quality, and creating mobile experiences that feel intelligent, seamless, and premium.

• Expert knowledge of Python, with experience building scalable backend services, AI workflows, automation systems, or data-driven applications.

• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment in production environments.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem, including iOS frameworks, development tools, design patterns, and App Store release processes.

• Experience with Rust or other systems-level languages is a plus, especially for collaborating with backend, infrastructure, or performance-critical components.

  Experience with AVFoundation, real-time audio, video, or media processing is a strong advantage for building rich, interactive mobile experiences.

• A strong track record of shipping standout apps or standout features within high-quality, user-facing mobile products.

• Deep expertise in iOS development, particularly with Swift. We seek engineers who operate at the highest level of their craft and care deeply about product quality.

• Ability to deliver results quickly and decisively, moving from idea to implementation with speed, clarity, and technical excellence.

  Sharp product sense, with the ability to empathize with users, anticipate their needs, and translate insights into mobile features that feel intuitive, intelligent, and valuable.

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product, design, AI, and backend teams to build premium mobile experiences for HighPotential’s global talent and client ecosystem.
