ABOUT THE ROLE:
The AI Solutions Engineering Team at HighPotential is a team of builders solving some of the most complex challenges in talent, hiring, and business transformation: connecting fragmented systems, orchestrating intelligent workflows, and using AI to help companies identify, assess, and engage exceptional talent more effectively.
We build full-stack, AI-powered solutions with ownership across the entire product lifecycle — from ideation and design to deployment and continuous improvement. Working closely with clients, candidates, and internal teams, we integrate the latest advancements in AI into reliable, scalable, and user-centric products.
Through an iterative development process, we gather real-world feedback, refine features, and evolve our platform to solve practical business challenges for high-growth companies, executive teams, and the next generation of high-potential talent.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Expert knowledge of at least one modern backend programming language, such as Rust, C++, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, secure, and horizontally scalable distributed systems.
Strong understanding of service observability, system reliability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization best practices.
Experience operating commonly used databases and data infrastructure, such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Elasticsearch, or other scalable data systems.
Ability to build and maintain AI-powered workflows, integrations, and backend services that support real-world business, talent, and client-facing use cases.
Experience working with APIs, automation pipelines, third-party integrations, and production-grade cloud infrastructure.
A strong engineering mindset with a focus on reliability, speed, security, and user-centered product execution.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Expert knowledge of Python, with experience building scalable backend services, AI workflows, automation systems, or data-driven applications.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment in production environments.
Expert knowledge of TypeScript, with the ability to build reliable full-stack or frontend-facing product experiences.
Deep understanding of gRPC, including unary calls, response streaming, bi-directional streaming, and REST mapping.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, or AI-powered search and recommendation systems.
Proven track record of delivering user-facing software at scale, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, security, and user experience.
Ability to translate complex business, talent, and client needs into robust AI-powered product features and production-ready technical solutions.
